An architectural design concept and spatial orientation overview for Anand's residence designed by Rahul Construction:
Massing and Spatial Program: The contemporary residential design features a net total built-up area of 1,852 sq ft (172.02 m²), comprising a ground floor area of 1,188 sq ft (110.36 m²) and a first floor area of 664 sq ft (61.66 m²). The project includes existing and proposed additions totaling 710 sq ft (66.01 m²).
Exterior Architecture: The front elevation showcases a modern architectural style characterized by clean horizontal lines, flat roof overhands, wood-textured accent paneling, dark-framed vertical windows, and a front glass-balustrade balcony.
Functional Layout & Zoning: The ground floor features an open sit-out ($4.44 \times 2.28$ m) leading into a drawing room ($3.42 \times 4.62$ m), a central dining and kitchen zone, multiple bedrooms with attached or adjacent W/C facilities, and a work area (W/A). The upper floor includes an upper living room, bedrooms, sanitary spaces, and an open polycarbonate-roofed balcony.
Vertical Integration: An internal staircase connects the ground-floor living core to the upper floor, complemented by an open-below spatial cutout that enhances vertical light and airflow.
Indoor-Outdoor Connectivity: The design blends indoor living spaces with exterior environments via the front open sit-out on the ground level and the polycarbonate sheet-roofed balcony on the upper level.
Fenestration and Ventilation: Perimeter walls feature distributed window units (w2, w3) and ventilation shafts to maximize natural daylighting and cross-ventilation across all habitable rooms.
